However, there was a slight decline in exports and exports declined to 25,739 units in December, which was 37,419 units last year. Despite this, total exports increased to 3,10,559 units in the period from April to December.
On the basis of these excellent results, the country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki ended 2025 with the highest ever total sales of 23.51 lakh units, which includes exports of 3.95 lakh units. Thanks to models like Jimny, e-Vitara and Baleno, the company also created a new record in exports. Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch many new models in the year 2026.
