Hyundai Motor India Limited has today launched the new Verna sedan in the Indian market and its starting price has been kept at Rs 10,98,400. Whereas the price of the top model has been kept at Rs 18,25,400. This premium sedan, designed with new design and powerful technology, has now become more modern and attractive than before.
The exterior of the new Hyundai Verna has been made sharper, bolder and more dynamic than before. Key exterior updates include black chrome radiator grille, dual LED projector headlamps, new bold front and rear bumper design, R16 diamond cut alloy wheels. The sedan offers superior cabin space and comfort with the longest wheelbase (2670 mm), widest width (1765 mm) and 4565 mm length in the segment. The cabin of the new Verna is a great blend of modern design and smart technology.
Key interior features include D-Cut steering wheel, leatherette seat upholstery, 8-way electric adjustable driver seat, driver memory seat for the first time in the segment, 4-way electric adjustable passenger seat, passenger seat electric walk-in device, rear window sunshade, ambient lighting, rear AC vent, Type-C USB port, adjustable headrest and rear armrest. Besides, it also has a large boot space of 528 litres.

The new Hyundai Verna has been given a great package of smart and connected technology. It has a 10.25-inch + 10.25-inch dual integrated screen setup, electric sunroof, surround view monitor, blind spot view monitor, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, it also has more than 70 connected features, more than 350 voice commands and multi-language UI support.
The new Hyundai Verna is available in two petrol engine options, which include 1.5L MPi petrol engine (6-speed manual and IVT gearbox) and 1.5L Turbo GDi petrol engine (6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT). The turbo engine produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful sedan in the segment.
Apart from this, it has been provided with paddle shifters, drive mode (Normal, Eco, Sport), Idle Stop & Go system, more than 75 advanced safety features and 35 standard safety features. Key safety features include Hyundai SmartSense Level-2 ADAS, 7 airbags (segment first), built-in dashcam, rain sensing wipers.
Standard features include 6 airbags, ABS and EBD, ESC and VSM, hill start assist, ISOFIX child seat mount, rear parking sensor, front disc brakes. The new Hyundai Verna can be purchased in 7 colors – Classy Blue (New), Titan Gray Matte (New), Starry Night, Titanium Black, Titan Grey, Atlas White, Atlas White with Black Roof (Dual Tone).
