Expanding its CNG retrofitment programme, Nissan Motor India has announced a government approved CNG retrofitment for the new Nissan Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT). Earlier, the company had launched this program for the Magnite BR10 manual transmission earlier this year, which received an excellent response from customers. With the certification of the BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT) variant, more customers will now be able to opt for a factory-fitted, reliable and high-quality CNG retrofit solution. It combines Nissan’s reliable performance with CNG savings and low cost.
Keeping in mind customer feedback and international standards, the company has redesigned the fueling system. Now the CNG filling valve is located inside the existing fuel-filling lid, which was earlier in the engine compartment. This change will provide more convenience to daily users, faster CNG filling and better usage experience. The company is giving a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km on the new CNG retrofitted Nissan Magnite.
Providing better value to its customers, Nissan has recently priced the CNG retrofitment kit at Rs 71,999. This price has been announced after reducing the GST rate from 28% to 18%. The new price will be applicable across all authorized Nissan CNG retrofitment centers across India from September 22, 2025. The company has also clarified that despite the upgrade, there has been no increase in the price, which will give customers an even better deal.
Earlier this year, the Nissan CNG Retrofitment Program was initially launched in 7 states Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala and Karnataka and was later expanded to 6 more states Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu, taking the total coverage to 13 states across India.
The retrofit option is available exclusively for the new Nissan Magnite, powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, available with both manual transmission (BR10 MT) and now EZ-Shift (AMT) variants.
