The price of Ola Roadster
Ola Electric has reduced the price of Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh by Rs 60,000 in the Indian market. The reason for this price reduction has been attributed to the increase in production of 4680 Bharat Cell being manufactured in the company’s Gigafactory. This battery is provided as standard in this electric bike. According to the company, costs have reduced due to increased production and its benefits are being passed directly to the customers.
Now the price of Roadster However, at the new price this electric bike will be available for a limited time only. The company will sell it under the “Limited Purchase Window” model, in which limited units can be purchased only in a fixed time slot.
The first purchase window will open from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, April 3. Subsequent windows will be announced from time to time depending on production. Company spokesperson said that due to increase in production of 4680 Bharat Cell, the cost has reduced significantly, due to which customers are getting direct benefit.
Also, during the #EndICEAge campaign the demand for this bike has increased by 5 times and the new price makes it affordable for more people. According to Ola Electric, the demand for the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh equipped with this battery has far exceeded the supply. This electric bike claims to give a range of up to 500 km once fully charged.
The company’s 4680 Bharat Cell is completely designed and manufactured in India. Costs have come down due to increased production and the company is working towards increasing the capacity of its Gigafactory to 6 GWh. Ola Electric is gradually regaining the ground lost from competitors like TVS Motor Company, Ather Energy and Bajaj Auto.
There has also been a huge jump in the sales of Ola Electric in March 2026. The company recorded over 150% month-on-month growth in registrations, reaching a total of 10,117 units. At the same time, in the last week of the month, daily orders exceeded 1,000 units. The company’s market share has also improved, the reason for which is said to be better service and providing better experience to the customers.
