Skoda will launch the new Kushaq in March, followed by 3 more cars by the end of the year
Skoda has already cleared its product roadmap for this year, confirming the launch of four key models across different segments. The line-up includes the Kushaq facelift with prices announced in March, the high-performance Kodiaq RS in the second quarter (Q2), the sporty Kylaq Sportline+ in the third quarter (Q3) and the Octavia RS in the fourth quarter (Q4) later in the year.
The company has revealed the Kushaq facelift just a few days ago. The updated midsize SUV gets a major visual change. It gets a new front bumper, a new grille with segmented LED elements (which is inspired by the Kodiaq) and updated headlamps. The side profile is further enhanced by newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels.
At the rear, a light bar and a new tailgate are provided with connected LED taillamps. Major upgrades have also been made to the interior. The 2026 Kushaq comes with segment-first rear seat massage function, panoramic sunroof, full LED cabin lighting, front parking sensors, illuminated Skoda lettering at the rear, sequential turn indicators, leatherette upholstery and ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats.
Apart from this, it has a large 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and six airbags as standard. Engine options include 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines, offered with a 6-speed manual, 7-speed DSG and a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Another big highlight of Skoda’s 2026 plans is the Kodiaq RS, which will launch in the second quarter. This performance-focused SUV will come with an upgraded version of the standard Kodiaq’s 2.0-litre TSI engine, which generates 261 bhp power and 400 Nm torque. Mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox, this SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. The RS package includes key elements like red accents, glossy black exterior detailing, black interior with red stitching, sporty pedals.
The India-spec Kodiaq RS is expected to be brought as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) unit. In the third quarter, Skoda will introduce its compact SUV Kylaq Sportline+, which will be a sportier version of the existing model. It will get the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which gives power of 115 PS and torque of 178 Nm, but its focus will be on sporty look in exterior and interior.
Skoda Octavia RS has already gained immense popularity in India. Only 100 units of this car, which was brought in limited numbers in 2025, were sold within a few minutes. Seeing the great response, Skoda has now confirmed that it will bring another batch of Octavia RS to India in late 2026.
