Ending the wait, Tata Motors has today unveiled its new vehicle in India. The name of this vehicle is Tata Curv, and it is an electric SUV. The company will also offer the Tata Curvv electric SUV in petrol and diesel engine options later.
Tata Motors, however, hasn’t released much details about the new Curve. But this vehicle is based on Tata’s newly upgraded X1 platform. The new vehicle is expected to measure 4.3 meters in length and will come with a longer wheelbase.

What will be the range?
Tata Motors has not shared any details about the price and range of the new vehicle. However, the company is expecting the certified range of the Curvv EV SUV to be 400-500km. Tata Curvv will come with a completely new design. The company claims that a new design like the Tata Curvv will be seen in future Tata SUV models. After being launched in petrol and diesel, it will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos.

The Tata Curvv electric SUV gets a split LED headlamp setup along with LED lights on the bonnet. At the same time, triangle shaped LED lights have also been given in the front bumper. One of the noticeable features on the Curve is its rear cameras given instead of external rearview mirrors (ORVMs). Which makes its look different from other Tata cars.

when will launch
Tata Curvv can be launched in 2024. Tata Motors has revealed that the Tata Curvv will be positioned above the mid-size SUV and below the premium SUV segment. The company’s plan was to present the Curvv in India at the Auto Expo in February. But the expo was postponed due to COVID. Which will now be held in January 2023.
