Bengaluru-based electric mobility company Ultraviolette has made a tremendous performance at the ongoing EICMA 2025 in Milan. The company presented its entire global product lineup here, and has also launched a very special innovation, UV Crossfade. This is India’s first carbon-fibre smart helmet, which has high-tech features like real-time radar communication. This launch marks UltraViolet’s official entry into the world of “Connected Riding Technology”, offering the ultimate blend of safety, performance and connectivity.
The UV Crossfade is Ultraviolette’s first helmet built under its “Connected Rider Ecosystem”. It has been developed in collaboration with Cardo Systems, a global leader in motorcycle communication technology. The helmet features real-time vehicle and radar integration, allowing the rider to stay directly connected to oncoming bikes in his group or Ultraviolette.

This helmet meets the safety standards like DoT, ISI and ECE 22.06, which means it sets a new benchmark in terms of safety. Its price has been kept at Rs 19,900 and it can be purchased on Ultraviolette’s website.
UV crossfade can be added to Ultraviolette’s F77 MACH 2, F77 SuperStreet, and X-47 Crossover. This helmet provides real-time radar alerts through the company’s Hypersense system, giving the rider instant warnings about traffic or blind spots. It also has a feature called Dynamic Alert Sequencing (DAS), which shows alerts according to priority so that the rider gets only the necessary information.
The combination of Cardo’s Mesh Network and Ultraviolette’s smart technology further simplifies rider-to-rider and rider-to-vehicle communication. Ultraviolette also introduced several of its models at EICMA, including the F77 MACH 2, F77 SuperStreet, F99, Tesseract, Shockwave and X-47 Crossover. Of these, the X-47 is the world’s first production motorcycle in which a radar system is provided as standard.
