Dausa. The 208th birth anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was celebrated in Jaipur under the banner of AMU Old Boys Association Rajasthan. Tributes were paid to Sir Syed Ahmed Khan in the program.




State President of the organization, Dr. Azam Baig underlined the guiding principles of Sir Syed as a lighthouse for the entire country even today. He said that turning adversity into opportunities, promoting mutual tolerance and relationships, considering education and teaching as a ladder of progress, are the guiding principles of Sir Syed’s teachings, which are as effective and influential today as they were a hundred years ago. DIG Jaipur, Arshad Ali said that successful are those who accept their weaknesses and overcome them instead of blaming others. He said that crying over failure and putting all the responsibility on others is a symbol of defeated mentality. The function was attended by a large number of distinguished guests, scholars, social representatives and other fraternity. Speakers recalled Sir Syed’s invaluable services to modern education and his vision of progress through knowledge and emphasized that his teachings hold the same guidance and significance in today’s era. On this occasion, all the guests were welcomed with mementos and flower garlands. In particular, Samra Sultana, Abrar Tyagi, Ismail Khan, Sara Khan and Farooq Khan were honored for their contributions to education, sociology and journalism. To promote Unani medicine, Dr. Shaukat, Dr. Maqbool, Dr. Farhat, Dr. Firoz Khan, Prof. of Dausa. Dr. Siraj, Professor M.S. Azmi, Dr. Shahid Ali, Professor Rashid Ali Tonk along with Dr. Sarfaraz, Dr. Ayub, Dr. Fayyaz, former director Unani were also honored. The program was organized by senior IAS officer A.R. Also addressed.
Vice President of AMU Old Boys Association Dr. Nasir, Secretary Dr. Shaukat Ali, Former President F.K. Sherwani, MNIT Professor Mushtaq, Rajasthan University Professor I.U. Khan and Muslim Personal Law Board member Ms. Samra Sultana etc. were present.
Also, there was participation from Aligarh students in large numbers from all over Rajasthan. It was also decided that soon the entire Aligarh fraternity would be invited to Jaipur for organizing a grand conference at the international level.
