Pakistan spreads terrorism in almost every country of the world including India. Time and again, it shamelessly shirks the terrorists it has sent, and the terrorist attacks it has orchestrated. On March 25, the US Congress released a report which exposed the real face of Pakistan. According to this report, 14 terrorist organizations are currently present on the soil of Pakistan; These include anti-India groups such as Hizbul Mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, as well as global terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaeda, Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) and Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP).

What other things came to light in the US Congress report?

In its report, the US Congress said that 4,000 to 6,000 terrorists of Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP) alone are currently present on the soil of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Apart from this, terrorists associated with global organizations like Al-Qaeda are also carrying out their activities from the soil of Pakistan. For the past year—after ‘Operation Sindoor’—Pakistan has been lying to the world, claiming that terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed do not exist within its borders and that it has banned them. However, a US Congressional report refuted these claims by Pakistan, revealing that there are currently over 1,000 anti-India terrorists linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pakistan. Additionally, Pakistan has trained more than 500 terrorists associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Pakistan: Training terrorists since 1970

According to the US Congress report, currently 1,500 Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists are present in Pakistan, and their aim is to attack India. Pakistan’s patronage of terrorism is not a new thing. Since the 1970s, Pakistan has been training terrorists within its borders and sending them to carry out attacks in India; Yet, despite this, the Pakistani government has consistently and shamelessly refused to take any responsibility for these terrorists and the attacks carried out by them. For example, on February 22, in Kishtwar, the Indian Army killed three terrorists of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed: Atiq-ur-Rehman (alias Abdul Mateen/Saifullah), Chaudhary Matbir Hussain (alias Farman), and Abdul Ghani (alias Huraira). All three were Pakistani citizens; However, on 26 February, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi brazenly claimed that all three terrorists were Indian citizens and termed them “freedom fighters”.

Furthermore, in an attempt to mislead the world, he insisted that these three individuals had nothing to do with Pakistan. However, the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) of Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Atiq-ur-Rehman (aka Abdul Mateen/Saifullah)—a copy of which is with ABP News—exposes this lie of Pakistan as well. Saifullah—whom the Pakistani Foreign Ministry was trying to portray as an Indian citizen—was actually a resident of Abbottabad, Pakistan; Not only this, the Pakistani government itself had issued this identity card to terrorist Saifullah on October 29, 2022. Such cards are issued only to Pakistani citizens.
The CNIC number on Saifullah’s card is 13101-9237685-1. Apart from this, ABP News also has the ‘Family Registration Certificate’ of the family of slain terrorist Saifullah. According to this document, ten of his family members—including his parents and siblings—still live in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad and hold Pakistani citizenship. Despite this strong evidence, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry continued to shamelessly mislead the entire world by issuing false statements and falsely claiming that Saifullah was an Indian citizen.
Similarly, Pakistan refused to recognize as its citizens the three terrorists—Bilal Afzal, Habib Tahir and Hanan Zafar—who carried out the terror attack in Pahalgam and were later killed by the Indian Army during ‘Operation Mahadev’. However, ABP News was the first channel to reveal the truth about these three individuals as well, and used their identity cards to reveal that they were actually Pakistani citizens. In this context, after the release of the US Congress report, Pakistan’s strategy of harboring terrorists on its soil and carrying out attacks against India has once again been exposed. Moreover, it has also become clear that Pakistan’s lies—and its efforts to mislead the world—are currently failing to influence any country.
