Bharatpur On the occasion of World Ozone Day (16 September), various public awareness programs were organized by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office Bharatpur with the aim of spreading the importance of environmental protection and safety of the ozone layer to the people. Students, teachers and Human Herit Society of various schools provided active support in these programs.
Regional officer Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board Umesh said that special awareness program was organized at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chhotakach, Bharatpur on the occasion of Ozone Day. In this, students were informed about the importance of the ozone layer, the ozone layer damage to the ozone layer and the side effects on their human life and environment. Essay competition, debate competition and poster competition were organized to increase awareness among the students.
In various schools of Bharatpur, Deeg and Bayana subdivisions, messages related to safety of ozone layer were sent to the common man through poster competition, essay writing and other creative activities. The Society, Municipal Corporation, Forest Department and District Administration had special support in the successful organization of all these programs.
In the program, Regional Officer, Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Bharatpur Mohan Sharma were present and made the students aware of the safety of the ozone layer and also called for active participation from the citizens. The main objective of these activities was to conscious and motivate the society towards safety, environmental protection and sustainable development of the ozone layer.
