The incidents of fire are increasing in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi. A fire broke out in a multi-storey society in Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning. On receiving the information, several fire engines reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
There is no news of any casualty in this incident which took place in a housing society in Sector 119, Noida. According to reports, smoke was seen emanating from a tower of ‘Aranya’ Society in Sector 119 on Monday morning; Within no time the smoke turned into strong flames. Local people immediately informed the fire department and tried to extinguish the fire.
The fire quickly spread to the surrounding flats. Residents asked nearby people to evacuate their apartments. Six fire engines reached the spot and after much effort the fire was brought under control. Since the fire broke out on the 22nd floor, the fire fighting team faced a lot of challenges in controlling it.
The Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of Noida himself reached the spot and policemen were also present there. The cause of the incident is believed to be an AC explosion; According to reports, an air conditioner installed in the balcony of a flat on the 22nd floor exploded and the fire that broke out later spread to the adjacent flat.
