A major step has been taken towards giving new impetus to connectivity in the National Capital Region (NCR). Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inspected the DND-Faridabad-Sohna Highway Project, after the completion of which Noida, Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram will be directly connected to a single highway network.
This ambitious project aims to reduce traffic pressure in Delhi-NCR and reduce travel time to a great extent. According to officials, this highway will provide fast, convenient and alternative routes between major cities of the region, which will provide relief to lakhs of commuters daily.

Under the proposed network, the DND flyway will be connected to Faridabad and Sohna corridor, making travel between Delhi to Gurugram and Faridabad more seamless. At the same time, by connecting Noida to this network, the traffic burden will be distributed and the pressure on the existing routes will be reduced.
