There is a fierce fight going on between US, Israel and Iran for the last eight days. Meanwhile, the Israeli Air Force carried out a massive bombardment on Iran’s capital Tehran early Friday morning. The Israeli army said that Iran’s military capability, leadership, infrastructure and nuclear facilities were targeted in this attack. The IDF also bombed Beirut, Lebanon, while Iran retaliated with further missile attacks on Israel and the Gulf states.

The IDF said more than 80 Israeli Air Force fighter jets bombed several areas of Tehran early Friday morning, targeting Iran’s military capabilities, leadership and nuclear facilities.
In these strikes, Air Force fighter jets struck several Iranian regime military facilities, including Imam Hussein University, the main military university of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which was used to train IRGC officers, the IDF said. The Military University was also used as an emergency resource and, more recently, as a gathering complex for the IRGC, particularly during Operation Rising Lion.
The IDF also claimed that fighter jets bombed an Iranian missile unit storage site, which contained military bunkers and launch infrastructure. Hundreds of government employees lived in an underground structure used to store ballistic missiles. The site included military bunkers and a command center from which senior Iranian government officials operated.

The attack has also been the deadliest in Lebanon since a 2024 ceasefire, forcing more than 95,000 people to flee Beirut and southern Lebanon.
‘Unconditional surrender’
On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has appealed to Iran through social media to ‘unconditionally surrender’. The US has indicated that its objective is to change the government in Iran or create new leadership.
Russian help
According to intelligence, Russia has given such information to Iran which can help Tehran in launching precise attacks on the US military. In a tragic incident, a blast at a school killed a large number of Iranian students. Initial evidence suggests that the blast was caused by a US airstrike targeting a nearby Revolutionary Guard compound. Lebanon is also facing a series of rocket attacks between Hezbollah and Israel, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Threat to global economy
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Energy Minister, Saad al-Kaabi, has warned that this war could devastate the global economy. He estimated that if energy exports from Gulf countries were stopped, oil prices could reach $150 per barrel. On Friday, US crude oil prices rose above $90 a barrel for the first time in two years. Tension in the Gulf region has disrupted the entire global energy supply chain, increasing the risk of inflation across the world.
changing war strategy
Meanwhile, US war aims and timelines are constantly changing. US-Israel joint attacks have tried to break Iran’s back, but increasing cooperation between Russia and Iran is making this fight more difficult. International efforts to stop the fighting have so far failed. As the fighting progresses, US military bases in the Gulf countries are also under threat.
