A painful accident took place in Gwarighat area of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday night, in which serious questions have been raised regarding the railway safety system. In this incident, after the collision with the train, a cow fell down from the bridge and a young man got hit by it, due to which he was seriously injured.
According to the information received, the accident occurred when some cattle came in front of the train passing through the railway track. The sudden collision caused chaos and during this a cow lost balance and fell down from the bridge. A young man present below got hit by it and was seriously injured.
The injured youth was immediately admitted to the nearby hospital with the help of local people, where his condition is said to be critical. The team of doctors is continuously treating him.
A total of three cows have died in this accident, due to which there is an atmosphere of mourning and resentment in the area. Local people said that movement of cattle around the railway track is common, but due to inadequate security arrangements, such incidents are continuously coming to the fore.
After the incident, the regional people have accused the railway administration and the local administration of serious negligence. He says that if there was proper fencing and monitoring around the track, such an accident could have been avoided.
People have also demanded that concrete steps should be taken to erect security walls, warning signs and stop the movement of cattle along the railway line, so that such incidents are not repeated in future.
Information has come to light that the local administration has ordered an investigation into the matter. The Railway Department has also taken the incident seriously and said to start an investigation.
At present, all eyes are on the condition of the injured youth and a detailed investigation into the cause of the accident is going on at the administrative level. This incident is once again raising questions on the railway security system and the cattle control system in rural areas.
