Speaking to in New Delhi, he said that Digvijay Singh is a senior Congress leader. What he said are his personal views. He has continuously worked to strengthen the Congress and we stand with him. If he has said anything then there is a need to think. Congress Party cannot be compared with organizations like Sangh. Congress works to unite, while Sangh works to break.
On Congress Foundation Day, Congress leader Subhashini Sharad Yadav said that we are completing 141 years and it is a matter of great pride for us that Congress Party is the oldest party in the country. The Congress Party has continuously fought for the country, from the streets to the Parliament. Whatever kind of work was needed to strengthen the country, the Congress Party has contributed in it. He said that we have celebrated the Foundation Day with all our senior leaders.
On the mob lynching of Hindus in Bangladesh, the Congress leader said that what is happening in Bangladesh is very unfortunate, but it is their internal matter. This issue needs to be looked at very carefully. A person may be Hindu or Muslim, but first of all he is a human being and being a human being we should protect all religions.
Referring to MNREGA, Subhashini Sharad Yadav said that whether it is MNREGA or Vande Mataram, these issues are often raised to divert attention. Changing the name does not change the intention. Vande Mataram was also started by Congress and MNREGA was also brought by Congress party. Trying to sabotage the plan will not succeed. MNREGA worked to support poor families.
