Behror. State Congress Committee (PCC) General Secretary Dr. RC Yadav has termed the budget presented by the Rajasthan government as completely disappointing. He said that despite BJP’s ‘double engine’ government at the Center and the state, there is nothing concrete in this budget for the general public, farmers and youth.
Comparison with neighboring states: ‘Relief in Haryana, inflation in Rajasthan’ Dr. RC Yadav cornered the government and said that food has been supplied in the budget in the name of social security. Discrimination in pension: He argued that there was no increase in old age, disabled and widow pensions, while the neighboring state of Haryana was giving double the pension of Rajasthan.
Petrol-Diesel Prices: Despite the claims of the double engine government, the prices of diesel and petrol in Rajasthan are much higher than in Haryana, due to which the burden of inflation on the public is increasing.
‘Deception’ with Behror: District was created but facilities were missing. Dr. Yadav raised questions on the government’s intentions regarding Kotputli-Behror district. He said:
Lack of offices: Behror has got only the name of the district. All important district level offices have been opened in Kotputli. Due to this discrimination, the lawyers’ strike in Behror has been going on for a long time.
Zero infrastructural development: Even after being declared a district, not even a new bus stand has been built in the city. The condition of the roads is worse and people are facing traffic jams every day. There is a severe lack of facilities in the district hospital.
Dark zones and migration of industries
Expressing concern over the geographical and industrial conditions of the area, the PCC General Secretary said that despite having big industrial areas like Neemrana, Behror, Shahjahanpur and Ghiloth, the water level here is continuously falling.
Demand for ERCP: He demanded that first of all water should be brought to this area through ERCP, otherwise industrial units will migrate from here due to lack of water.
Employment and Pollution: No policy has been made to provide employment to local youth in industries. Also, despite being in the NCR region, no roadmap was given in the budget to stop the increasing pollution.
Dr. RC Yadav said that the people of the region had high expectations from this budget, but the government has only presented a illusion of figures, due to which the middle class and the poor did not get any relief.
