A woman died after four months of marriage in Abohar. This woman from Haryana was married in Sukhchain village of Abohar. After her death under suspicious circumstances, just four months after their marriage, there was an altercation between the in-laws and father-in-law over the disposal of the body during the postmortem on Friday.

A heated argument broke out between the two parties, due to which the police had to be called. The police brought the situation under control and handed over the body of the deceased to her parents. According to reports, the parents of deceased Manju Rani were taking her body to their village Kajla Hedi (Haryana) for cremation after postmortem on Friday. Meanwhile, some people from the deceased’s in-laws started an argument demanding to take the body to their village. The debate escalated so much that there was a heated argument between both the parties for about an hour.

On receiving information about the incident, the police of the concerned police station reached the spot and calmed down the situation. After this, the police handed over the body of the deceased to her parents. The deceased’s brother, who is a lawyer by profession, has alleged that his sister’s in-laws first murdered her and now tried to forcibly keep her body. She has given a written complaint against her in-laws for assault and ruckus and has demanded action.

Based on the statement of the deceased’s father Bhagwan Das, the police on Thursday registered a case against the deceased’s husband Pradeep, father-in-law Kamal, maternal uncle-in-law Banwarilal and mother-in-law Suman. At present, all the accused are absconding, and the police are continuously conducting raids in search of them.
