The Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted a major terrorist module in collaboration with central agencies. It is being told that the mastermind of this module was injured while making Ashra Danish IED explosive and he suffered an injury to his eye. According to sources, about 50 people were active in this group, which were on the radar of all security agencies. These people were using the signal app to interact with each other. Surprisingly, only 5 of these 50 people were aware of the entire conspiracy and terrorist plan of the module.
7 people were released due to lack of evidence
According to the police, this module was preparing to carry out major terrorist activities across the country. These people were trying to collect raw materials, when the agencies caught them. In this operation, raids were conducted in 5 states including Delhi, Mumbai, Jharkhand. 11 suspects were detained from Bengaluru, out of which 7 suspects were released for lack of evidence. At the same time, two suspected terrorists, Aftab and Abu Sufayan were arrested from Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi. Both are residents of Mumbai and were trying to reach Mumbai by buying weapons from Mewat. Police have recovered 3 pistols and large quantities of cartridges from them. In addition, IED making items have also been recovered from their bases.
King Ashhar Danish was caught from Ranchi
Ashhar Danish, the mastermind of the module, was arrested from Ranchi in Jharkhand. He is a resident of Bokaro and was associated with a module associated with the Islamic State. Chemicals and IED making items have also been recovered from his hideout. According to sources, Danish was in the eyes of security agencies for several months. Special Cell of Delhi Police, ATS of Jharkhand and Ranchi Police arrested two suspects of this IS -inspired module in a joint operation. A source said that these people were in touch with other members of the Islamic State Network and were involved in the activities promoting the organization’s agenda in India.
