New Delhi, December 8 (). Delhi Police has arrested two miscreants in connection with the robbery of a delivery boy. The knife and Bullet motorcycle used in the crime have also been recovered from both the accused.
Welcome police station had received information on Friday that some people had fled after robbing a delivery boy near Janata Colony. When the police reached the spot after receiving the information, the victim Alok Kumar told that two youths riding on a Bullet bike looted Rs 1,200 from him at knifepoint. When he protested, he threatened to kill him with a knife.
Alok Kumar further said that when I raised an alarm, people gathered nearby and ran and caught one of the accused, who was identified as Faizan (20), resident of Janata Colony, Welcome.
Police registered the case and interrogated the arrested accused. During interrogation, Faizan not only confessed to the robbery but also revealed the name of his accomplice.
Seeing the seriousness of the case, a team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Rupesh Khatri, who traced the second accused and arrested him by cordoning off near Janata Colony. The accused was identified as Farzan alias Danish (22). The knife and Bullet motorcycle used in the crime were recovered from the accused.
Police investigation revealed that Farzan alias Danish had earlier also been involved in a case of attempt to murder. Interrogation of both the accused is going on and the police is investigating their criminal network.
Police officials said that both the accused are being interrogated. Before this, in which areas did these people loot and how many people are included in their group? Also, information is being sought from nearby police stations to find out in which police station a case has been registered against them.
