In earnest. A fresher’s party was organized with the message of enthusiasm and social awareness on Saturday at Shri Nurshig GNM Training Institute College, Vidyari in the subdivision. The main objective of the program was to make students aware about drug addiction. On this occasion, all the students were given an oath to build a drug-free society.
College Chairman Mahendra Tiwari and Director Deepak Tiwari while addressing the students said that drug addiction not only harms the health of the individual but also affects the entire family and society. He administered an oath to the students that they will tell their family, village and relatives about the ill effects of drugs and motivate them not to consume drugs. The students also took a pledge that they themselves will stay away from drugs and will also save their friends, siblings and family members from it. Cultural presentations were also organized in the programme, in which students displayed their talent through dance, song and other arts. The social friends and guests who attended the program were warmly welcomed.
On this occasion, many dignitaries including College Principal Meenakshi Dahiya, Pradeep Arya, Kapil Sharma, Devendra Sharma were present. The program gave the message to the youth to move forward in a positive direction and build a drug-free society.
