A case of theft of a gas cylinder in broad daylight has come to light from inside the house of a female constable working at the police headquarters on Shekhawati Nagar Extension Kalwad Road of Kardhani police station area in Jaipur. The incident occurred when the lady constable was busy inside the house on her leave. Two youths riding a bike committed the crime within minutes
This incident took place at around 5:30 pm on plot number 23 in Shekhawati Nagar Extension, Govindpura. Female constable Santra Burdak told in her complaint that both she and her daughter were inside the house. Meanwhile, two unknown persons came riding on a bike, picked up the gas cylinder kept in the porch of the house and ran away quickly within a few minutes.
Police started searching for thieves
According to the description given to Kardhani police station, both the youths who committed the theft were dark complexioned. One of the two was wearing a red T-shirt with white stripes on it, while the other was wearing a black T-shirt. Kardhani police station has registered a case based on the report of the lady constable and has started searching for these unknown bike-riding thieves.
The police is scanning the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in and around the woman constable’s house and around this area so that the accused can be identified and caught as soon as possible.
