Jaipur, . State Chief Secretary V. Srinivas said that as per the wish of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, My Bharat Portal (mybharat.gov.in) should be made effective and comprehensive to easily provide the benefits of education, skill development, employment, volunteerism, sports, innovation and public welfare schemes of various departments to every youth of the state. He instructed all the departments to work with mutual coordination by ensuring timely integration of youth related schemes, programs and services on the portal. On Wednesday, the Chief Secretary was presiding over a review meeting at the Government Secretariat to review the progress made by various departments in the effective implementation of My Bharat Portal and compliance with the instructions of the Chief Minister. He said that My Bharat Portal, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is being strengthened as a single window platform for the youth. Through this, opportunities related to government schemes, skill development, internship, volunteerism, employment, sports and innovation will be available to the youth on a single platform. He instructed the departments to link all programs and resources related to youth to the portal. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary reviewed the registration campaign of youth on My Bharat Portal, department-wise progress, district level performance, special registration campaign in schools, colleges and universities, appointment of My Bharat Campus Ambassador, Nodal Officer and formation of district level committees. He directed to give more momentum to the campaign to ensure participation of maximum youth.
The Chief Secretary directed the officers to further strengthen departmental coordination and make My Bharat Portal the main platform for all youth-centric initiatives of the state government, so that every youth of the state can connect with government schemes and opportunities and play an active role in building a developed Rajasthan and a developed India.
Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Praveen Gupta said that the state government is continuously increasing the participation of youth through innovative programs like Drug Free Youth-Developed India Campaign, Fit Rajasthan, Sports Volunteering, Developed India @2047, Vibrant Village Program, Experiential Learning Programs, Senior Citizen Service.
Through the presentation, Devendra Vyas, State Director of My Bharat, informed about the progress of Rajasthan Specific Chapter, integration of departmental resources, Experiential Learning Program (ELP), My Bharat Campus Ambassador, Advisory and Coordination Committees, Feedback Box, Idea Box and digital resources being developed for the youth.
Additional Chief Secretary Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department Sandeep Verma, Additional Chief Secretary Higher and Technical Education Department Kuldeep Ranka, School Education Department, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Medical Education Department, Women and Child Development Department, Agriculture Department, Panchayati Raj Department, Rajasthan Youth Board, National Service Scheme (NSS) and senior officials of various departments were present in the meeting.
