Tonk. Additional District and Sessions Judge and District Legal Services Authority Secretary on Wednesday took a weekly inspection of District Prison Tonk and took stock of the entire system. During this time, the judge took information about the prison arrangements by Jail Superintendent Jayawardhan Singh in the District Jail Tonk.
Total male captive number 440 and 06 female prisoners were found to be present. Jailor Rajesh Meena, Sub Jailor Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Legal Ad Defense Council Advocate Nipun Chauhan and PLV Hukmchand and DSLSA Tonk Personnel were present during the inspection.

The Judge visited the Legal Services Clinic located in the prison. During this time the jail premises were found to be clean. During inspection at the district prison, the quality of food in the jail was also investigated. During the inspection, the prisoners got information regarding the status and advocates of their cases from the basic facilities and prisoners found in the prison and in case of not being able to take advocate, information was provided by the authority regarding providing advocates under free legal aid.
