Ishq is often called paradise. Even a small smile relaxes the heart and looking at a look becomes the support of the whole life. But this love sometimes takes a person on such a dark path, from where only bloodshed and destruction are found. This second face of love is creepy, in which the insistence of getting love ends on death.
Two recently revealed incidents put forward this bitter truth. An incident is from Bokaro in Jharkhand, where a woman was pushed by her lover to death by a moving train. The second story is from New Ashok Nagar in Delhi, where the lover brutally killed her with knives. In both these cases, the accused remained absconding for many years, but finally the long hands of the law caught him.
First story: Kiran was put to death by pushing from train
It was the day of 18 March 2020. Kiran Kumari, a resident of Bokaro, came out of her maternal home, but this proved to be her last journey. CID investigation revealed that Kiran’s love affair was walking with a young man named Satyendra. The two met in an online marketing company and gradually the relationship deepened.
That day both were going to Uttar Pradesh by train. During the journey, there was a dispute between the two about marriage. The debate grew so much that Satyendra reached the door of the moving train in anger and pushed Kiran. Kiran left this world forever.
Court case and Kiran’s compulsion
Kiran was living separately from her husband and fighting a case in court for alms. The lower court ruled in his favor, but the husband appealed to the High Court. In such a situation, Kiran did not want to hurry about marriage. His refusal became the cause of his death.
Police lapse and arrest after five years
After the incident, Satyendra kept Kiran’s mobile with him and started using it. The family lodged a missing report, the police also caught the accused, but was released due to lack of evidence. Five years later, Jharkhand CID went to the bottom of the case and arrested the accused.
Second story: Girlfriend refuses, and brutally strangled to death
This is the story of New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. Here Arjun Kumar alias Bhola wanted to marry his girlfriend. But the girl flatly refused, as her relationship was decided by the family elsewhere. This refusal made Arjun a poor. On 16 November 2017, Arjun brutally roses his girlfriend with knives and then strangled her. After the incident, the room was closed and escaped. The next day the body of the girl was recovered from the room. Ironically, the room in which the incident took place was rented by the girl’s father to Arjun.
Nepal could not escape even after running away
Arjun fled to Nepal after the murder. There too, he committed a crime and strangled his friend’s girlfriend’s mother. The Nepal court sentenced him to 25 years imprisonment. But he escaped from jail by taking advantage of the riots during the recent “Jane Ji protests” in Nepal. While trying to return to India, he was caught by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police on the Raxaul border of Bihar. A reward of one lakh rupees was already declared on him. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime of both the murders.
From love to justice: the result is the same
Both stories are from different states, but their script is almost the same.
First story: Girlfriend was pushed by train on refusal to marry.
Second story: On the refusal of marriage, the girlfriend was strangled to death.
In both cases, the murderer Aashiq escaped from the spot and avoided the law for a long time. But finally could not escape the hands of justice.
Lesson: When love becomes stubborn
Both these incidents are warning to the society. Love is beautiful only when there is confidence and understanding in it. But when love turns into stubbornness and insanity, its consequences are bloodshed and waste. It is said that the laws are long, and both these cases are a living evidence of it. Whether it takes 5 years or 8 years, justice is definitely available, but definitely get it.
