Chhatarpur. The condition of nine employees deteriorated after eating food at a resort in the world tourist destination Khajuraho located in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. All of them have been referred to Jhansi-Gwalior for treatment from the district hospital. Three of these have died. According to the information received, the employees working in a resort located in Khajuraho had their meal on Monday like normal days and in this they ate potato and cabbage vegetable. Shortly after eating the food, the health of nine employees started deteriorating, they felt dizzy and even vomited. By nightfall their condition became critical so everyone was taken to Chhatarpur district hospital. According to the doctors of the district hospital, the patients were brought to the hospital, but their condition was continuously deteriorating. As a result, all 9 patients have been referred to Jhansi and Gwalior considering their condition.
According to the information given by official sources, after the tragic death of three employees of Gautam Hotel Khajuraho who fell ill after eating food, Collector Partha Jaiswal immediately approved financial assistance of Rs 20,000 each from the Red Cross Society to the families of the concerned.
Taking cognizance of the matter, the district administration approved financial assistance to the families of Pragilal Kushwaha, Girja Rajak and Ramswaroop Kushwaha. Also, after receiving the information yesterday, sampling has also been done to test the food in the hotel.
The health staff and the district administration are fully active in case of health of employees deteriorating after eating food in the resort. Also, samples of food are being taken in the resort and it is being said that testing will be done. Of the nine sick people, the condition of four was extremely critical and they were fighting for their lives, out of which three have died.
