New Delhi . There was chaos at Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi, when the bomb threatened by email on Tuesday morning. As soon as the threat was received, the college administration immediately informed the police.
After this, many vehicles of Delhi Police team, bomb squad and fire brigade reached the spot and intensive search operation was started throughout the campus.
According to Delhi Police, this threatening mail was received by the college administration in the morning, which was said to have bombs in the premises. As soon as the mail was received, there was a stir among the students, doctors and employees present in the college.
Police and bomb disposal squad immediately started searching the entire campus. During this time, the vehicles of the fire department were also present on the spot so that any emergency could be dealt with.
Significantly, for some time, many prestigious institutions, offices, schools and colleges of Delhi have received false threats of bombs.
Earlier, about 20 colleges, including Jesus and Mary College in Chanakyapuri, were sent to threatening e-mails. After investigation, it was revealed that this threat was false. Initial investigation has also revealed that the email sender must have used VPN to hide his identity.
Earlier, on August 21, many schools in Delhi were also threatened with bombs. Due to this, 6 schools including Dwarka Sector 5 and Prasad Nagar had to be evacuated and security checks were done.
Teams of Delhi Police, Fire Brigade, Bomb disposal Squad and Dog Squad immediately reached the spot. Although there was no suspicious thing from any place, the search operation continued throughout the day.
Officials say the investigation is on to find the IP address of the email sender.
After these threats, bomb disposal squads, fire engines, and police teams had to be deployed in the entire city. Even before this, many well -known schools and colleges have been targeted, such as Rohini’s Abhinav Public School, West Vihar’s Richmond Global School, and St. Stephen’s College in Dwarka and St. Thomas School.
