Ahmedabad . On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has organized the National Urban Conclave and Mayor Summit-2025 on 15th and 16th October. This summit was inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Mayors and Municipal Corporation Commissioners of more than 100 cities across the country are participating in this two-day event, who will discuss urban development and future plans. This summit is an important platform to present Ahmedabad as a model in the field of urban development. The event aims to exchange ideas to make India’s cities more prosperous, sustainable and citizen-centric. The summit will have in-depth discussions on topics like smart cities, cleanliness, environment protection, infrastructure development and digital governance.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said at the inauguration ceremony, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an important role in uniting the country. This summit on his birth anniversary gives us an opportunity to realize his vision through urban development.” He praised AMC for making Ahmedabad a clean, green and modern city.
In this conclave, mayors and commissioners of different cities of the country will share their experiences and take inspiration from each other. Apart from this, urban planning experts, policy makers and industry representatives will also participate in the event. The summit will also organize workshops and panel discussions on issues such as sustainable urbanisation, waste management and climate change.
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has made extensive preparations to make this event grand and effective. This summit will not only promote collaboration between cities, but will also play an important role in shaping India’s urban future.
