New Delhi . Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra made a big claim regarding the remarks made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ramlila Maidan in the country’s national capital Delhi. He said that no such comment was made from the Congress platform. While talking to journalists on Monday, he claimed that no offensive remarks were made regarding the Prime Minister from the Congress platform. We ourselves ensured that no derogatory remarks about anyone were used on the platform. According to the information we have received, someone in the crowd had made such derogatory remarks during the interview. Now we (Congress) do not know who made this comment. The senior Congress leader claimed that BJP people are disrupting the winter session by taking recourse to this issue. If you people do not want to run the Parliament session, then make this clear yourself. Do not resort to any other issues like this.
He said that we want a discussion on the pollution present in Delhi in the winter session of Parliament, but it is regrettable that people from the ruling party are disrupting the Parliament session.
Priyanka Gandhi said that if you people do not want to have a discussion in the Parliament, then we will not come here. There is no scope for any kind of meaningful discussion here. It is unfortunate that the government people themselves are disrupting the winter session of Parliament. The Parliamentary Affairs Minister himself is disrupting the session. Journalists should ask questions in this regard.
On changing the name of MNREGA, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that I do not understand why these people are changing the name, when the name of a project is changed by the government, a huge amount is spent on it. In such a situation, why these people are changing the name of a scheme is beyond comprehension. These people are now removing Mahatma Gandhi’s name also. After all, what is the intention of these people?
