Honda has launched its new Honda City facelift in the Indian market. Along with this, it has also unveiled its flagship SUV, ZR-V Hybrid. Talking about 2026 Honda City, the company has made many changes in its design. Moreover, it has been launched at a starting price. This is the second facelift of the fifth generation of this car.
The fifth-generation City was originally launched in 2020 and then updated in 2023. In this second facelift, the company has again redesigned the front part of the car. Apart from this, many new features have also been added to it. Technically, no changes have been made to the car; That means it has the same engine and gearbox as before.
What is the price?
Honda has launched the City facelift at a starting price of ₹11,99,900, ex-showroom. The car is available in four trim levels: SV, V, ZX and ZX Plus. Customers can buy this car with petrol-manual, petrol-automatic or hybrid powertrain options.

Honda has made a major change in the look of the car. It now gets attractive headlights with “eyebrow-style” LED DRLs. The front grille now has a honeycomb pattern. The company claims that the light beam will now be farther and wider than before. Apart from this, body colored panels are also provided in the car. The bumper has a new triangular design to improve air flow. Dual-tone alloy wheels have also been installed in the car. At the rear, a dual-tone bumper is provided. This model from Honda will be available in five existing colors as well as a new black color option.
Interiors and Features
A 10.1 inch touchscreen display has been provided in the cabin of the car. The interiors get a dual-tone theme, AC vents, center console and digital instrument cluster, just like the previous model. While most new cars these days are using touch controls instead of physical buttons, Honda has decided to continue using buttons. The car has a 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats. Apart from this, it also has an 8-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charging pad and a sunroof. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, lane watch camera, rain-sensing wipers, hill start assist and six airbags.
Engine and Gearbox
The engine and gearbox of the car remain the same. It has a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, which gives 121 HP power and 145 Nm torque. This car is available with the option of 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT gearbox. Apart from this, it also has a 1.5-litre hybrid powertrain, which is mated to an e-CVT gearbox. For the hybrid variant, the company claims a mileage of 27.26 km/litre.
