Dholpur On the occasion of International Old Day, the newly appointed Chief Medical Officer of Dholpur, Dr. VD Vyas visited the Ramshray ward located in the district hospital campus. During this time, he interacted with the elderly, knowing his well being and distributing them fruits and congratulated him. Addressing the elderly, Dr. Vyas said that the elders are similar to the roots of our family and society. Just as the tree takes its power from the roots, similarly the new generation also gets the direction of life with the experience and blessings of its elders. It is not only our duty to serve and respect them but also the soul of Indian culture. He further said that in today’s changing social scenario, old people often fall prey to neglect. It’s a topic of concern We should take care of not only their health but also their mental and emotional support. If we give them love and respect, they will feel satisfaction and joy in the last stage of their life. Special appeal to the youth, Dr. Vyas said that the new generation should spend time with his grandparents, maternal grandfather and other elders of the society. His experiences and blessings become support in every struggle of life. If the elderly remain healthy and happy, then the society and the nation will also be healthy and strong.
Hospital staff and local people were also present on the occasion. Everyone spent time with the elderly and respected them. The atmosphere was extremely emotional and cordial. Ramashray ward is being run by the state government in District Hospital Dholpur, which has a capacity of 20 beds and all medicines and medical relations in this ward are all investigated free of cost. Physiotherapist Manish Dixit Ajay Sharma gave information about physiotherapy and health officer, Deputy Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Chetram Meena gave the maximum use of the patients on the international old age, Advised to use more and more available facilities in the hospital
