New Delhi, January 4 (). The current situation in Britain does not seem to be anything special. There is dissatisfaction among the people about the present government and perhaps the Prime Minister has also realized this. That is why British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has given a big statement regarding the current situation of the country and the functioning of the government. He assured the people on the social media platform ‘X’ that the government is moving in the right direction and its positive results will be clearly visible in the coming times.

“I know people are frustrated with the pace of change. I am too. It will take time to get our country back on track, but despite the mess we inherited, we are making progress. Wage rates are rising faster. Waiting lists are falling. Inflation and interest rates are falling,” PM Starmer wrote in his post on Twitter.

He further wrote, “This year, Britain will recover, and you will begin to feel the change we promised on your bills, in your communities, and in your government services.”

He also acknowledged that his government had inherited a situation where chaos and challenges were high. Despite this, the government is continuously moving forward and improvements are being seen on many important fronts.

Starmer also said that inflation and interest rates are declining, which is a sign that the economy is stable. PM Starmer assured the people that the year 2026 will prove to be a turning point for Britain.

He said that this year the country will take a new turn and the impact of the changes promised by the government will be felt directly by the people. People will experience relief in electricity and water bills, improvements in local communities and changes in the quality of public services in the times to come. He appealed to the public to remain patient, saying that the government is committed and aims to build a strong, stable and just Britain.

Apart from this, he has also expressed his reaction to the incident in which President Nicolas Maduro was captured after the recent US attack in Venezuela. PM Starmer said, “The UK has long supported the transition of power in Venezuela. We considered Maduro to be an illegally held president and have no regrets as his reign ends. I this morning reiterated our support for international law. The UK government will discuss the changing situation with our colleagues in the US in the coming days as we seek to form a legitimate government that reflects the will of the Venezuelan people in a safe and peaceful manner.”
