After NDA’s massive victory on 202 seats in Bihar, it is becoming even more interesting to review the data. Looking at the Bihar election results, there is a lot of change in the victory-loss margin between 2020 and 2025, especially in the 31 assembly constituencies where Yogi Adityanath held rallies. If we look at the results and figures of victory and defeat in those constituencies, the picture is very interesting. Can it be said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has completed his “2027 homework” for Uttar Pradesh in 2025 by using Bihar as an excuse?

Significant change in the margin of victory and defeat on 31 seats
The victory of BJP’s Ramkripal Yadav from Danapur assembly seat is notable. In 2020, RJD’s Ritlal Yadav won by 15,924 votes, while this time the NDA won by a margin of 29,133 votes, which was almost double. Similarly, BJP’s victory in Agiaon assembly seat is an important sign. In the last by-election, CPI’s Shiv Prakash Ranjan had won by a landslide by 48,550 votes. However, this election completely changed the situation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a rally here, which changed the atmosphere. The election results were the most closely contested. BJP’s Mahesh Paswan, who challenged the party’s previous defeat by 48,550 votes, won in 2025 by 95 votes. It was a big challenge to snatch this victory from the hands of CPI.

Some were 10 times bigger, some 9 times bigger!

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held big rallies in 31 assembly constituencies of Bihar. The issue of bulldozer action and defeating the mafia continued to resonate in his speeches and speeches. These promises were welcomed with thunderous applause in the rallies and there was bumper voting in EVMs also. As a result, in 2020, BJP’s Gayatri Devi won the Parihar assembly seat by 1,569 votes. In the 2025 elections, she won by 15,690 votes, which was ten times bigger than the previous election. In the 2020 elections, Congress’s Sanjay Tiwari won the Buxar assembly seat by 3,892 votes. BJP’s Anand Mishra won the 2025 elections by a huge margin of 28,253 votes. This victory was nine times bigger than that of 2020. Similarly, in the 2020 elections, RJD’s Awadh Bihari Chaudhary won the Siwan assembly seat by 1,973 votes. This time BJP candidate Mangal Pandey not only won the Siwan seat, but his victory margin was almost ten times bigger than in the previous elections. That means RJD won the Siwan seat by 1,973 votes, while BJP won the same seat this time by 9,370 votes.
