New Delhi . BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain and BJP MP Vivek Thakur reacted on several political issues including Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs joining Shinde faction, Pakistan Defense Minister’s remarks and BJP’s prospects in Punjab. Speaking to on Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif’s statement about fighting with India for water, Shahnawaz Hussain said, “Pakistan keeps barking and India will do whatever it wants to do. India has a capable Prime Minister and a strong government. It is not acceptable in any way for our water to go there (Pakistan) and it sheds blood in return.” On Asaduddin Owaisi’s demand to Home Minister Amit Shah to stop the demolition of mosques in Rajasthan, the BJP spokesperson said, “If any religious place is built on an illegal place, then action will be taken. It is not right to just talk about demolishing mosques. The government does not remove religious places built on legal places.”
On BJP national president Nitin Naveen’s statement about forming government in Punjab, Shahnawaz Hussain said, “The national president’s visit to Punjab has been very successful. Seeing the enthusiasm there, he has claimed that BJP government will be formed in Punjab. The people of Punjab have seen the rule of Congress, AAP and Akali Dal government, hence now want to see development with change. This time the people of Punjab want to form the BJP government.”
On Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs joining the Shinde faction, BJP MP Vivek Thakur said, “The MPs must have felt that there is no future for the party’s leadership. When workers and officials become hopeless in politics, then they look for a permanent home. When Trinamool Congress lost in West Bengal, there was a stampede in the party.”
On the question of BJP National President Nitin Naveen, the BJP MP said, “The people of Punjab are fed up with the present government. Like Delhi, the AAP government is not doing any work in Punjab. The law and order situation in Punjab is bad, hence the people there are looking at BJP as a hope.
On the statement given by Tejashwi Yadav regarding law and order in Bihar, Vivek Thakur said, “If Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Yadav talk on law and order, it is ridiculous. There is no justification for these people to speak on law and order. The government has established good governance in Bihar.”
