Ayodhya . Today (Saturday) is the anniversary of the demolition of the disputed structure in Ayodhya. Uttar Pradesh is on high alert regarding this. Meanwhile, former petitioner in this case, Iqbal Ansari, has said that till the time the case was in the court, people used to organize different types of programs on December 6, but after the court’s decision came, Muslims respected it. Speaking to , Iqbal Ansari said, today the temple has been built. Ayodhya is developing, there are more employment opportunities. Now Ayodhya has an airport, a railway station, a bus station, good roads, ponds and parks. There is brotherhood in Ayodhya.” Iqbal Ansari said, “In 2019, the Supreme Court had given its verdict and Muslims across the country respected it. Today there is peace in Ayodhya. There is no dispute between Hindus and Muslims. There are no protests and no unrest.”
In fact, security has been increased in the entire Uttar Pradesh on the anniversary of the demolition that took place on December 6, 1992. Authorities have put Ayodhya and Mathura, the two most sensitive places in the state, on high alert. Police forces have been instructed to remain alert and multi-layer security arrangements have been implemented to prevent any untoward incident.
Barricades have been erected around the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex and Shahi Idgah Mosque in Mathura, where a large number of security personnel have been deployed.
The entire area has been divided into two zones, four super zones and eight sectors for systematic monitoring. Officials are monitoring the area using both CCTV networks and drone cameras. Similar strict security measures have been taken in Ayodhya also.
