Jaipur. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas on Monday took a review meeting of the social security pension schemes run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department and gave necessary directions.
While presiding over the meeting held in the Chintan Auditorium located at the Secretariat, the Chief Secretary gave instructions to prepare an analytic dashboard of the beneficiaries of the pension scheme and display it on the pension portal and ensure that it is regularized by discussing with the officials of the Finance Department regarding the delay in payment to the pensioners. V. Srinivas also directed to contact the team of Swavalamban Portal to get the solution done as soon as possible to solve the difficulty in getting disability certificate for pensioners belonging to the specially abled category, and to ensure that more number of pensioners get verified through it by spreading the currently popular face recognition mobile app for the annual verification of pensioners.
Additional Chief Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment Department Aparna Arora, Director Ashish Modi along with officials of Medical Education Department, Medical and Health Department, Rajasthan AIDS Control Society, Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar Authority, NIC, Rajasthan Directorate of Special Persons and related departments were present in the meeting.
