Srimadhopur. Forest and Environment Minister and Minister in -charge of Sikar district Sanjay Sharma and Minister of State for Urban Development and Autonomous Government Jhabar Singh Kharra reached Srimadhopur on Tuesday. He took a padyatra from Gopinath Temple to the main Chaupar Bazar and communicated with the traders and the public. During this, he went to each shop and distributed the pamphlets and gave information about “Next Generation GST”. Kharra said that the central government has given great relief to the common man by reducing GST rates. Education and health services have been almost tax free. He informed that GST has been reduced to zero on pen, pencil, copy-book, while the tax on other insurance schemes including health insurance has also been abolished. Tax rates on daily use products have also decreased, which will reduce inflation and increase the purchasing power of consumers. This will also speed up the trade and compensate for the loss in international trade with indigenous trade.
During this, Sikar District In -charge Minister and UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra appealed to adopt Swadeshi and said that business will increase with the savings and benefits of the consumer. On the municipal elections, Kharra said that the State Government and the Department of Autonomous Governance have completed preparations. The Election Commission will prepare the voter list and the Backward Commission will collect data. After this, civic elections will be held on the lines of “one state, one election”.
