State government completes 2 years tenure: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will flag off 50 development chariots on Friday

Jaipur. On the occasion of completion of 2 years of the state government, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will flag off 50 development chariots from Harishchandra Mathur Institute of Public Administration on Friday for wide publicity of the achievements, flagship schemes and budget announcements of the state government. After which, after press conference by the ministers in-charge at the district headquarters, these development chariots will be flagged off and sent to the assembly constituencies. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas said that all the 200 Vikas Raths will go to the assembly constituencies allotted to them and information about the state government’s achievements, flagship schemes, policy reforms in the last two years will be easily and effectively conveyed to the common people through audio-video. The Chief Secretary reviewed the preparations for this program through the VC along with all the Divisional Commissioners, Inspector General of Police and District Collectors at the Government Secretariat on Thursday. The Chief Secretary directed that the journey of all Vikas Raths should be ensured as per the route chart with public participation. Block Development Officer or an officer senior to him has been appointed as the nodal officer for each Rath.
Control room established for monitoring Vikas Raths-
The Chief Secretary directed to set up a control room to monitor the journey and security as per the route chart of Vikas Raths. Daily location tracking of all the chariots will be done along with geo tagging, which will be monitored at the state level.
Abhay Kumar, State Nodal Officer of the 15-day campaign being conducted on the completion of 2 years of the State Government and ACS of Water Resources Department, directed that arrangements for night rest during the yatra should be ensured at the Panchayat offices. Along with this, nodal officers should ensure that the reach of Vikas Rath is ensured to every part of the assembly constituencies.
Director General of Police Sanjeev Kumar Sharma directed the concerned SP to deploy adequate police personnel for the security of the chariots. Also, instructions were given to park the chariots in the nearest police stations at night. He instructed to appoint police for the security of the chariots during the Rath Yatra and ensure the journey as per the route chart.
In the meeting, the Chief Secretary took feedback from all the Divisional Commissioners, Inspector General of Police and District Collectors about the route chart of their districts, schedule of chariots, availability, security related aspects and preparations for the press conference.
Along with the Vikas Raths, there will be development booklets, pamphlets and other promotional materials based on the department-wise achievements of the state government. There will also be a suggestion box along with the chariots in which the common people can give their problems, expectations and suggestions. The Chief Secretary gave instructions to take appropriate action on the suggestions received in the suggestion box.
Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, MLA and local public representatives will be present along with the District Incharge Minister in the press conference to be held at the district level.
Director General of Police Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, Government Secretary of School Education Department Krishna Kunal, Government Secretary of Planning and Information Technology and Communication Department Dr. Ravi Kumar Surpur, Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Department Sandesh Nayak, Additional Director Administration Dr. Govardhan Lal Sharma were present in the meeting. Through VC, all the Divisional Commissioners, Inspector General of Range Police, District Collectors and officers in-charge of District Public Relations Offices joined the meeting.
