Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the state government is working with commitment to create new employment opportunities for the youth in various sectors including tourism, solar energy, industry, He said that in order to create 4 lakh government and 6 lakh private employment opportunities in five years, about 92 thousand government jobs have been given so far and recruitment on more than 1,53 lakh posts is under process, At the same time, more than 2 lakh employment opportunities have been provided in the private sector also, He said that the state government will also bring a youth policy soon,
Sharma was addressing the state level employment fair at Commerce College on Thursday on the occasion of completion of two years of the state government. He said that this employment fair is a symbol of the government’s thinking in which the state government has given priority to employment, skills and entrepreneurship. More than 100 employers from more than 20 sectors of the private sector are participating in it. He said that such employment fairs will continue to be organized in every district and employment will continue to be available at the local level.
Not a single paper leaked in two years
The Chief Minister said that there was not a single paper leak during the two years of the state government’s tenure. At the same time, during the time of the previous government, the youth of the state had to suffer unbearable pain due to paper leak. He said that in 1893, Swami Vivekananda had told the youth to ‘Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is achieved’. He had said that the 21st century will belong to India. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is rapidly moving towards becoming a world leader.
Employment generation through Rising Rajasthan
Sharma said that by preparing a roadmap, the state government worked on priority in various sectors including water, electricity, industry and employment in the last two years. MoUs worth Rs 35 lakh crore were signed in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, out of which ground breaking of MoUs worth Rs 8 lakh crore has been done. This is creating new employment opportunities for the youth.
More than 4 lakh youth benefited from Chief Minister Yuva Sambal Yojana
The Chief Minister said that the state government organized about 410 employment assistance camps and selected more than 1 lakh 11 thousand unemployed candidates for employment. He said that Mukhyamantri Yuva Sambal Yojana is being run with the aim of making the youth self-reliant and providing them financial support. More than 4 lakh youth have benefited from this scheme, and an amount of Rs 1,156 crore has been distributed as unemployment allowance.
Skill, Planning and Entrepreneurship Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore said that the youth of Marudhara soil are hardworking and disciplined. Private sector companies are giving employment opportunities to the youth here. In this context, this employment fair is the door to self-reliance. Youth have got jobs in the private sector through employment camps in the state. He said that MoUs worth Rs 35 lakh crore were signed in the Rising Rajasthan Summit. Out of which ground breaking of MoUs worth more than Rs 8 lakh crore has been done.
In the programme, the Chief Minister gave appointment letters to selected youth who got employment in private companies. He visited the stalls of various companies and collected information.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Shri Vishwakarma Skill Development Board Chairman Ramgopal Suthar and a large number of youth and private employers were present.
