Chandigarh. Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the Haryana government will make a “Jhula Safety Policy”. This will be the first policy of its kind in the country, which aims to make swings and entertainment devices completely safe. This policy will ensure people’s safety. The Chief Minister was meeting journalists at his Haryana residence on Tuesday. During this, Cooperative Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishna Kumar Bedi were present. The Chief Minister said that the government will take concrete and effective steps to ensure that swing incidents like Surajkund do not recur in future. Describing the accident in Surajkund as unfortunate, he said that the government is taking this accident very seriously. In this case, two people associated with the Jhula Committee have been arrested. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that all the people injured in the accident are undergoing treatment and the Haryana government will bear the entire cost of their treatment.
Along with this, financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh will be provided to every seriously injured person. Expressing condolences to Inspector Jagdish who was martyred in the accident, the Chief Minister said that a family member of the martyred policeman will be given a government job and financial assistance will also be provided.
