Bhilwara. The path for widening and construction work of the proposed 100 feet road from the much awaited MTM of Bhilwara city to Jodhadas intersection has now been completely paved. This important project was stuck for a long time due to pending no-objection and land transfer process related to the land owned by Police Department (Santoshi Mata Temple area). As a result of continuous efforts of Bhilwara MLA Ashok Kumar Kothari and continuous recommendation and effective lobbying before the state government, this project has now got major administrative approval. Recently, in the order issued by the Urban Development Department, approval has been given to provide the equivalent land of the Urban Development Trust located at Revenue Village Malola to the Police Department in exchange of the land of the Police Line falling under the right of way of the 100 feet road proposed under the Master Plan-2035. This has cleared the way for completion of the land transfer process. Along with this, the Home Department has issued No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the construction of road on approximately 89,647 square feet land of Police Line and has also given instructions to the concerned officers to hand over the possession of the land to the district administration. After the approvals from both the departments, there is every possibility that the road construction work will start soon.
MLA Ashok Kumar Kothari said that this 100 feet road proposed under Master Plan-2035 will give a new dimension to the traffic system of the city. With its construction, thousands of citizens living in many colonies of the track crossing area will get permanent relief from the traffic problem that has been going on for years and the traffic between different areas of the city will be more easy and safe.
He said that this is not just a road construction project, but an important link in the future planned development of Bhilwara. To fulfill this long pending demand, continuous coordination was done with the State Government, Home Department, Urban Development Department and concerned officials, which has now yielded positive results.
Expressing his gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, MLA Kothari said that this important project of the city has gained momentum due to the positive thinking and administrative support of the state government. He expressed confidence that the road construction work will start soon and will be completed within the stipulated time, which will give a new direction to the development of Bhilwara and the traffic system will become more organized and convenient.
