New Delhi . The film ‘Godaan’ has been released in theaters on 6 February, but the demand to ban the film is rising rapidly. Congress is continuously demanding to ban the film and is accusing the film of spreading hatred and discrimination in the society, but now Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s national spokesperson Vinod Bansal has advised the Congress to look into its past and said that they should apologize. On the film ‘Godaan’, Vinod Bansal, national spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, said, “The image of the Congress had already been tarnished during the attack on unarmed Ram devotees, and even before that during the horrific incident of 7 November 1966 at the Vote Club in Delhi near the Parliament during the reign of Indira Gandhi. The entire nation was embarrassed by this. Why has the Congress not apologized for this till now? Let me remind you that it was a dark day in the history of India, When a huge crowd had gathered in the voting club, there was no data on how many devotees and cows were fired upon.
He further said, we also have information that many cow devotees and saints were taken to unknown places and shot. Instead of demanding a ban on the film ‘Godaan’, Congress should apologize for its past actions. Along with this, Parliament should also see that now mother cow should get her rights and respect back. Cow slaughter should be banned in the entire country.”
Before this, Congress leaders are continuously demanding to ban the film Godaan. Muslim religious leaders are also talking about banning the film. Senior Uttar Pradesh Congress leader and state spokesperson Anshu Awasthi and Congress leader Poonam Pandit also lodged a protest against the film. Let us tell you that the producers of the film “Godaan” are Vinod Kumar Choudhary and Parul Choudhary, while the co-producer of the film is Chetan Goswami. The film has been directed by Amit Prajapati.
