Lucknow, February 21 (). Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput has justified the performance of Youth Congress workers at the AI Impact Summit. He said that what the Youth Congress has done is their constitutional right and we are proud of the Congress workers.
Supporting the statement of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, Surendra Rajput made a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that BJP is not only working against any one community, but also against the entire society, all religions and Sanatan tradition. He alleged that today ‘fake Sanatani’ are demanding certificates from real Sanatan believers. Religious gurus like Shankaracharya are being given instructions and incidents of assault on their disciples are also coming to light.
Responding to international economic issues, he said that America’s decisions are America’s internal matter, but their impact on India is important for India. Referring to American tariffs and judicial decisions, he said that the judiciary there appears to be completely independent, whereas in India, questions have been raised on decisions against opposition leaders. Giving an example, he said that it was unfortunate that Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years in a defamation case in a Gujarat court.
Commenting on America’s trade policy and India-US relations, Surendra Rajput also targeted the central government. He said that the tariffs imposed by America and global economic decisions are having an impact on India, but the central government is not able to effectively protect the interests of the country. The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bowed down before America and President Donald Trump. India also has to decide from where to buy oil, which is a worrying situation for economic sovereignty.
Responding to religious issues, he also commented on the statement of Parliamentary Affairs Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Suresh Kumar Khanna. He said that the law should apply equally to everyone. Be it the issue of loudspeakers, blockage of roads due to processions, or disputes related to any religious place, following the law should be mandatory in every situation.
