Navi Mumbai, October 26 (). India has won the toss and decided to bowl against Bangladesh in the 28th match of the World Cup 2025. The Indian team has entered this match with 3 changes. Uma Chhetri has got a chance to debut in ODI.

The toss was delayed due to rain. Due to cloudy sky, India decided to bowl. Wicketkeeper-batsman Richa Ghosh has been rested from this match. In her place, Uma Chhetri is present in the playing eleven. On the other hand, Kranti Gaur and Sneh Rana are not playing in this match. Radha Yadav and Amanjot Kaur have been given a chance in their place.

The Indian team has secured the ticket for the semi-finals. At the same time, Bangladesh team is out of the title race, but Bangladesh would like to improve its position in the points table by winning this match. At the same time, India has come to test its preparations in this match.

India has so far won 3 out of 6 matches in the Women’s World Cup 2025. After registering wins against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Team India had to face defeats against South Africa, Australia and England. After this, India won the match against New Zealand by 53 runs and got the ticket for the semi-finals.

On the other hand, after winning against Pakistan by 7 wickets, Bangladesh had to face defeats against England, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and Sri Lanka.

Rain will create interruptions from time to time in this ongoing match at DY Patil Sports Academy. The pitch will be good for batting, but due to light grass on the pitch, bounce may be seen here.

Indian playing XI: Pratika Rawal, Smriti Mandhana, Harleen Deol, Jemimah Rodriguez, Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Deepti Sharma, Uma Chhetri (wicketkeeper), Amanjot Kaur, Radha Yadav, Shree Charani and Renuka Singh Thakur.

Bangladesh’s playing XI: Sumaiya Akhtar, Rubya Haider, Sharmin Akhtar, Sobhana Mosteri, Nigar Sultana (captain/wicketkeeper), Shoran Akhtar, Ritu Moni, Rabia Khan, Nahida Akhtar, Nishita Akhtar Nishi and Marufa Akhtar.
