Behror. To commemorate ‘World Veterinary Day’, a special camp will be organized at the Multipurpose Veterinary Hospital in Behror on coming Saturday. In this camp, free vaccination and deworming medicines will be distributed to pet animals.
Deputy Director of the hospital, Dr. Rajesh Yadav said that this camp will be organized on Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. This is the second free camp in the last one year to be organized in collaboration with Bhamashahs. Pet Animal Section in-charge Dr. Vijay Mandowara informed that this day is celebrated every year on the last Saturday of April. This year, the theme of this day falling on 25th April has been set as “Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health”.
The theme highlights the vital role that veterinarians play in ensuring the availability of safe food ‘from farm to plate’ by ensuring animal health and welfare.
The hospital administration has appealed to all the livestock owners and animal lovers of the area to come in maximum numbers and get their pets vaccinated and avail this free facility.
