Amidst this bad news, oil marketing companies have released new rates of petrol, diesel and LPG. The good news is that there is no change in the prices of petrol, diesel or LPG today. Today petrol is being sold at ₹ 94.77 per liter and diesel at ₹ 87.67 per liter in Delhi. Whereas in Kolkata, petrol is being sold at ₹ 104.99 per liter and diesel at ₹ 91.81 per liter. Compared to Delhi, the price of a liter of petrol in West Bengal is about ₹10 higher.

There is no change in prices in all these cities.
New rates of petrol in neighboring countries
Amidst the West Asia crisis, India’s situation offers some relief when compared with its neighboring countries. The average price of petrol here is ₹101 per liter. The price of petrol in Bhutan has reached ₹102.78 per liter. In Pakistan, petrol rate has increased to between ₹133.56 to ₹136.75. In just one week, the price of petrol in China has increased from ₹125.71 per liter to ₹126.46. In Sri Lanka, the price of one liter petrol has increased from ₹135.13 to ₹139.65. However, in Nepal, the price of one liter petrol has dropped from ₹137.13 to ₹135.41. Meanwhile, in Bangladesh, petrol prices have increased to ₹108.49 from ₹107.78 per litre. On the other hand, in Myanmar, the price of petrol has decreased from ₹147.25 to ₹141.40.

14.2 kg cylinder is most commonly used in homes. Today in Delhi, this LPG cylinder is available for ₹913. Whereas, for small families or for short-term use, a 5 kg cylinder is available for ₹339. In Agra, the price of a domestic cylinder is ₹924.50; ₹975.00 in Gorakhpur; ₹950.50 in Lucknow; And in Kanpur it is ₹928. On the other hand, the price in Dehradun is ₹932, in Bengaluru ₹915.50, in Andaman ₹989, and in Indore ₹941. Moreover, the domestic cylinder price in Hyderabad is ₹965 and in Raipur it is ₹984.50.
