On December 6, the price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs 540 to Rs 1,30,150 per 10 grams, while the price of 100 grams fell by Rs 5,400 to Rs 13,01,500. Similarly, the price of 8 grams of gold decreased by Rs 432 to Rs 1,04,120 and the price of 1 gram of gold decreased by Rs 54 to Rs 13,015.
For 22-carat gold, the price of 10 grams declined by Rs 500 to Rs 1,19,300 and the price of 100 grams declined by Rs 5,000 to Rs 11,93,000. Meanwhile, gold prices of 8 grams and 1 gram also declined by Rs 400 and Rs 50 to Rs 95,440 and Rs 11,930, respectively. Besides, 18-carat gold price initially declined by Rs 410 to Rs 97,610 per 10 gram, then by Rs 4,100 to Rs 9,76,100 per 100 gram, then by Rs 328 to Rs 78,088 per 8 gram, and finally by Rs 41 to Rs 9,761 per 1 gram.

However, prices also fluctuated during this period; For example, the price of 100 grams of 24-carat gold fell by ₹5,400 on December 6, while it had increased by ₹10,300 on December 5. Similarly, on December 4 the price fell by ₹9,200, but on December 3 it rose by ₹7,100.

Unlike gold, silver prices rose in India on Saturday. The price of 1 kg silver increased by ₹3,000 to ₹1,90,000. Besides, silver prices of 100 grams and 10 grams stood at ₹19,000 and ₹1,900 respectively. The cheapest silver is available at ₹190 per gram. This week, silver outperformed gold, rising by over 1 per cent, while gold fell by 0.41 per cent.
