Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate across the country. In recent times, these metals have created new records most of the time. Gold and silver have once again broken records. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold rose by ₹2,630 to ₹1,24,155 per 10 grams by Tuesday morning. Silver price increased by ₹10,825 to ₹1,75,325 per kg. According to the All India Bullion Association, gold prices in Delhi rose by ₹1,950 to a new peak of ₹1,27,950 per 10 grams. Silver also jumped ₹7,500 to hit a new record high of ₹1,79,000 per kg (including all taxes). In the international market, gold rose by almost 2 percent to reach a new record level of $ 4,084.99 an ounce. In overseas markets, silver reached a new all-time high of $ 51.74 an ounce. Gold prices in the national capital rose by ₹1,950 to a new peak of ₹1,27,950 per 10 gram on Monday due to increased demand for safe investment options amid fresh trade tensions between the US and China, according to All India Bullion Association. On Friday, gold of 99.9 percent purity had closed at ₹1,26,000 per 10 grams. Besides, gold of 99.5 per cent purity rose by ₹1,950 to hit an all-time high of ₹1,27,350 per 10 grams (including all taxes). It had closed at ₹1,25,400 per 10 grams in the last market session.
What were the prices of silver last day?
According to the Bullion Association, a rise in silver prices was also seen in the spot markets. On Monday it rose by ₹7,500 to hit a new record high of ₹1,79,000 per kg (including all taxes). On Friday it closed at ₹1,71,500 per kg. In the international market, spot gold rose nearly two percent to a new record high of $4,084.99 an ounce. In overseas markets, spot silver hit a new all-time high of $51.74 an ounce.

Gold prices hit a record high of ₹1,23,977 per 10 grams in futures trade on Monday due to fresh deals by speculators amid strong spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for December delivery rose by ₹2,613, or 2.15 per cent, to an all-time high of ₹1,23,977 per 10 grams. Gold contracts for February 2026 delivery rose ₹2,296, or 1.87 per cent, to an all-time high of ₹1,24,999 per 10 grams. Earlier, the contract had hit a new high of ₹1,25,025 per 10 grams on Thursday. Globally, gold futures for December delivery rose more than 2 per cent to a record high of ₹4,096.06 an ounce.

Meanwhile, a rise was also seen in silver. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of silver futures for December delivery rose by ₹ 5,856, or 4 percent, to ₹ 1,52,322 per kg. On Thursday, its price had touched an all-time high of ₹1,53,388 per kg. Similarly, the price of silver futures for March 2026 delivery increased by ₹4,992, or 3.39 percent, to ₹1,52,011 per kg. Globally, silver prices rose by about 4.65 per cent to $49.44 an ounce.
