On March 28, gold prices in the country are once again showing an upward trend. In the capital Delhi, the price of 24 carat gold rose to ₹144,870 per 10 grams in the morning. In Mumbai, this rate is ₹144,720 per 10 grams. Exactly a day earlier, gold prices had fallen by ₹1,900—or 1.3 per cent—in the Delhi bullion market, after which it closed at ₹147,800 per 10 grams. In the international market, the spot price of gold is $4,416 per ounce.

Prices in Pune and Bengaluru: In both these cities, the price of 24 carat gold is ₹144,720 per 10 grams, and the price of 22 carat gold is ₹132,660 per 10 grams.

Now if we talk about another precious metal – silver – its prices are currently falling. On the morning of March 28, the price of silver is ₹239,900 per kg. A day earlier, silver prices in Delhi’s bullion market had fallen by a massive ₹11,250—or about 5 per cent—to close at ₹230,000 per kg. In the international market, the spot price of silver is $68.12 per ounce. Earlier this year, in the month of January, the price of silver had crossed the ₹400,000 mark.
