In the capital Delhi, the price of 24 carat gold has reached ₹153,160 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the price of 24 carat gold was recorded at ₹153,010 per 10 grams. Last day, in Delhi’s bullion market, gold prices rose by ₹600 and reached ₹156,000 per 10 grams. In the international market, the spot gold price is trading at $4,734.28 per ounce.

**Mumbai and Kolkata:** Currently, in Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of 22 carat gold is ₹140,260 per 10 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold is ₹153,010 per 10 grams.
**Gold Price in Chennai:** 24 carat gold price is ₹153,840 per 10 grams. The price of 22 carat gold is ₹141,020 per 10 grams.
**Price in Pune and Bengaluru:** In both these cities, the price of 24 carat gold is ₹153,010 per 10 grams, and the price of 22 carat gold is ₹140,260 per 10 grams.

Another precious metal – silver – also continues its bullish trend. On the morning of May 8, its price rose to ₹270,100 per kg. In the international market, the spot price of silver is trading at $81.35 per ounce. A day earlier, the price of silver had risen by ₹7,000 to ₹261,500 per kg in Delhi’s bullion market. In January this year, the price of silver in the country had crossed the ₹4 lakh mark.
