New Delhi. The central government has collected a GST collection of Rs 1.86 lakh crore in August. This figure is 6.5 percent higher than the GST collection in August 2024 last year. In August 2024, a GST collection of Rs 1.75 lakh crore was done. This year, GST collection was Rs 1.96 lakh crore in July 2025. In April 2025, the GST collection was at the highest level. At that time, 2.37 lakh crore rupees were deposited in the treasury of the government from GST. Ever since GST has been implemented, it is the highest collection of GST till now.
Talking about the current financial year, the GST collection was Rs 10,04,414 crore in five months from April to August, with net revenue was Rs 8,78,096 crore.
